{"id":2020,"date":"2015-08-26T06:44:22","date_gmt":"2015-08-26T04:44:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chartmogul.com\/?p=2020"},"modified":"2023-08-09T21:01:22","modified_gmt":"2023-08-09T19:01:22","slug":"announcing-our-second-seed-investment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/announcing-our-second-seed-investment\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing our Second Seed Investment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The amount\u00a0is\u00a0$900,000, which brings the total outside investment raised to date to $1.5M. \u00a0The round was led by our existing lead investor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pointninecap.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Point Nine Capital<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 Point Nine\u00a0have been a fantastic partner to us\u00a0over the past eight months,\u00a0so\u00a0we couldn&#8217;t be more happy to be deepening our partnership with the <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2015\/06\/19\/citymapper-scoops-a-hat-trick-at-the-annual-europas-conference-and-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Best Seed Stage Investor<\/a>\u00a0in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Existing investors <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MichaelFHansen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michael Hansen<\/a> and Tom James also participated in the funding round, along with some lovely new folks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RTAventures VC\u00a0(run by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pkules\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Piotr Kulesza<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/investor.zendesk.com\/ir-home\/corporate-governance\/management\/management-details\/default.aspx?ItemId=302083c2-19a9-4e98-bec8-8bb187b80e8a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alexander Aghassipour<\/a> (Co-Founder &amp;
