In these challenging market conditions we\u2019ve had to partner closer than ever with our customers to understand their needs and deliver value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflecting on the year, I\u2019m proud of how ChartMogul evolved, and the success we worked hard to achieve and more than ever I\u2019m thankful to the team members, customers and supporters who\u2019ve made this all happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are the highlights that stick out for me when looking back on 2023, the best year* yet for ChartMogul.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*Of course\u2026we do say that every year, as you can see in our <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/chartmogul-2022-year-in-review\/\">2022<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/2021-in-review\/\">2021<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/2020-in-review\/\">2020<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/2019-in-review\/\">2019<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/chartmogul-2018-year-in-review\/\">2018<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/chartmogul-2017-year-in-review\/\">2017<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/chartmogul-2016-year-review\/\">2016<\/a> posts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Launching ChartMogul CRM<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 4th, after months of stealth work, we launched ChartMogul CRM into the world. We had spent the previous year watching our users do more and more CRM-like activities in their ChartMogul accounts, and had asked ourselves, what would it mean if we built a CRM in ChartMogul? You can read more about <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/introducing-chartmogul-crm\/\">our CRM story here<\/a>.\u00a0<style>\/* this is a hack *\/#this-posts-video { width: 80% !important; margin: 2rem auto; display: block; }<\/style><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p class=\"video-container\"><youtube-video videoid=\"wgLIeVo0MNw\"><\/youtube-video><\/p>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The launch was a success, with the entire company rallying together to get the word out. We had the 5th Product of the Day on Product Hunt, over 330 free trials started within a matter of days, and were flooded with notes of encouragement, excitement and a healthy dose of skepticism.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sure, there are a lot of CRMs on the market, but our unique ability to combine subscription data with sales opportunities and customer communication all in one place has proven powerful.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/collage_1-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"Examples of the market's reaction to ChartMogul's CRM and early adoption \" class=\"wp-image-21273\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Eight months later, we\u2019re learning what functionality matters most to our end users, and as the first customer, our sales team have been fundamental to <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/convert-more-leads-with-chartmogul-crm\/\">developing the product<\/a>. Almost 10% of our customer base has tried it out, and over $4m in pipeline has been created in ChartMogul CRM.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Feeding the SaaS Industry with Powerful Insights<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year our research went viral. Then our <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/reports\/saas-benchmarks-report\/2023\/\">2023 SaaS Benchmarks Report<\/a> brought light to how performance trends were reacting to a changing economic context. Next year we\u2019re expecting SaaS to remain difficult, but with ever improving conditions. We have a clear focus, strong plan and a great team.
