The initial <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/new-feature-segmentation\/\">segmentation feature launch<\/a> came in January, and throughout 2016 we released multiple updates. I think we&#8217;ve ended up with a really solid set of tools for giving greater insights into customer data.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/compare-one-click.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5760 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/compare-one-click.gif\" alt=\"compare-one-click\" width=\"850\" height=\"468\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>February<\/h3>\n<p>We were excited to be a sponsor at the second <a href=\"http:\/\/saastrannual.com\/\">SaaStr Annual<\/a>\u00a0conference in San Francisco. It was an exceptional SaaS conference and we&#8217;ll be there again in February 2017. Our customer success team invested a lot of time this year in making sure we have solid documentation and setup guides for all parts of the app.<\/p>\n<h3>May<\/h3>\n<p>Another big theme of 2016 was our shift from being a product that works with a handful of third-party billing solutions to a more open platform, with a comprehensive set of APIs, developer documentation and client libraries. This was followed by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/introducing-node-js-chartmogul-client\/\">Node<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/chartmogul.com\/blog\/chartmogul-api-php-client\/\">PHP<\/a>, with more clients planned.<\/p>\n<h3>August<\/h3>\n<p>Nearly the whole team was in Berlin at the start of August.
