What you get from your Chargebee data
ChartMogul reads your Chargebee billing history and calculates your subscription metrics from it: MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, and every customer's MRR movements. You can segment revenue by plan, country, or cohort, save reports, and send scheduled updates to email or Slack.
How it works
Connecting. You create an API key in Chargebee (ChartMogul recommends a read-only one) and add it to ChartMogul with your Chargebee subdomain. Then you add a webhook in Chargebee that ChartMogul gives you. You need to be an Admin or Owner in both ChartMogul and Chargebee.
History. The first import brings in all your existing subscription billing data.
Staying up to date. The webhook sends changes to ChartMogul in real time.
What ChartMogul imports
- Customers, with their Chargebee custom fields and metadata as custom attributes
- Invoices and transactions
- Lead and free trial start dates
- Subscription events, used for committed MRR (CMRR)
- Promotional credits, reported as discounts
- Each customer's latest cancellation reason
Contacts and transaction fees aren't imported.
Before you connect
- You need to be an Admin or Owner in both Chargebee and ChartMogul.
