Google Sheets and ChartMogul

The ChartMogul add-on for Google Sheets works in both directions. Import customers, plans, and invoices to build your subscription analytics without a billing integration, add attributes and tags to existing customers, or export customers and metrics like MRR and churn to a sheet.

What you can do

Import billing data. Fill in the add-on's templates with customers, plans, and invoices, and send them to ChartMogul. This lets you build subscription analytics without a billing system integration.

Enrich customers. Add lead and trial dates, custom attributes, and tags to customers who are already in ChartMogul, matched by email or external ID.

Export. Pull customers with their metrics, attributes, and tags into a sheet, or the customers, plans, and invoices from one source. You can also export MRR, ARR, customer count, ARPA, ASP, LTV, and churn rates over a date range, by day, week, month, or quarter.

Before you connect

  • Nothing syncs on its own. The add-on only connects when you click Import or Send.
  • It connects with a ChartMogul API key: read and write to import, read-only to export.
  • Google limits how many requests an add-on can make per day, which caps very large transfers.

Setting it up

Install the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace. The Google Sheets guide covers each template.

Google Sheets integration questions
