What you get from your Recurly data
ChartMogul reads your Recurly billing history and calculates your subscription metrics from it: MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, and every customer's MRR movements. You can segment revenue by plan, country, or cohort, save reports, and send scheduled updates to email or Slack.
How it works
Connecting. You add a webhook in Recurly, then give ChartMogul a Recurly private API key and your subdomain. You need to be an Admin or Owner in ChartMogul and an Admin in Recurly.
History. The first import brings in all your existing subscription billing data.
Staying up to date. The webhook sends changes to ChartMogul in real time.
What ChartMogul imports
- Customers, with their Recurly account custom fields as custom attributes
- Invoices and transactions
- Credits, shown in the cash flow report
- Lead and free trial start dates
- Subscription events, used for committed MRR (CMRR)
Contacts and transaction fees aren't imported.
Before you connect
- You need to be an Admin in Recurly, and an Admin or Owner in ChartMogul.

Setting it up
- In ChartMogul, start adding Recurly as a source.
- In Recurly, add the ChartMogul webhook under Integrations > Webhooks.
- Back in ChartMogul, enter your private API key and subdomain.
- Choose how invoices are handled.
- Import your data.
