How it works
In Segment's destination catalog, you add ChartMogul and paste a webhook URL that ChartMogul generates for you. From then on, Segment sends your data to ChartMogul in real time:
- Group calls create and update customers.
- Identify calls create and update contacts.
Traits come in as custom attributes, or update standard fields you choose. You can limit the import to contacts that belong to a company.
To avoid duplicates, set up a merge automation so Segment customers merge with the matching customers from your billing system.
