What it posts

Real-time updates. One message per MRR movement, optionally with the customer's email and custom attributes.

Summaries. Daily, weekly, or monthly posts with your net MRR change and the largest gains and losses. For more than one frequency, add Slack more than once.

You can filter by movement type (new business, expansion, contraction, churn, and reactivation) and set a minimum amount, so a channel only hears about the movements that matter to it.

Before you connect

  • App Store Connect and Google Play data arrives once a day, so their movements may not show up as real-time updates.

The Slack guide explains which movements are posted and when summaries go out.

Setting it up

In ChartMogul, go to Settings > Destinations, pick Slack, and connect your workspace. Then choose the frequency, channels, and filters. The Slack guide covers each option.
